Cost of living

Liechtenstein is one of the European countries with the highest cost of living. Since the cost of living varies from person to person, the following figures represent estimates for the

cost of living for students per month:

  • Telephone/Mobile: CHF 50.-
  • Food: CHF 400.-
  • Health insurance/insurance: CHF 100.-
  • Clothing, laundry, hygiene: CHF 70.-
  • Leisure, spending money: CHF 200.-

Minimal cost of living for students at the University of Liechtenstein can be expected to total approximately CHF 1.500,- per month.

Tuition for the University of Liechtenstein is approximately CHF 750.- per semester and additional costs for course materials are CHF 50.- to 200.- per month, depending on the academic department. Erasmus students pay tuition at their home university.
