European Voluntary Service
The easiest way how to get involved as a volunteer in the Czech Republic is to engage in European Voluntary Service. It enables people coming from participating countries from 16 to 30 years of age to work in non-profit organisation abroad for the period of 2-12 months. The countries involved in the program EVS include all the EU and EEA (Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland) countries and associated states (Ukraine, Russia, Serbia …).
If you come from one of the countries, contact your National agency managing the program in your country or directly the sending organisation and choose as the place for your project the Czech Republic.
One can find a list of the National Agencies, database of EVS projects and host organizations from all over Europe on this website: http://ec.europa.eu/youth/evs/aod/hei_en.cfm
